Julia returns to Bellevue with her husband to visit his sister, who is nearly blind due to a degenerative disease who try without success. Upon arrival, they discover who has committed suicide. Julia not only facing the loss of his sister, but also the loss of all hope to stop his impending blindness, because she suffers the same disease and appears to share the same fate.
